About This Experience

Escape the busy streets of Bruges and discover the quiet beauty of the Flemish countryside on this half-day guided E-Bike tour to the Dutch border.

Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about the region, including Napoleon’s military ambitions and local war history.

One of the highlights of the tour is crossing the canal on a small hand-operated ferry near the charming village of Hoeke, a truly authentic experience.

Midway through the tour, we take a 30-minute break at a local bar where you can enjoy a Belgian beer or soft drink (not included).

This tour takes you through the countryside along the Dutch border. While we explore the border, we do not ride all the way to the actual border crossing.

Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to third parties as a result of insufficient cycling skills or unsafe cycling. Quasimundo is not responsible for such damage to the extent permitted by law.

Tour Itinerary

Follow quiet country roads through the flat landscape of West Flanders and discover the waterways and villages surrounding Damme. Your local guide will share stories about the region, from Napoleon's plans to local wartime history, while pointing out the details that make this landscape more interesting than it first appears. We'll stop at a local bar for a Belgian beer or soft drink. It's the perfect opportunity to relax, soak up the atmosphere and recharge before getting back on the bike. Drinks are not included.
