Tallinn's Town Hall dates back to 1404 and is the oldest suriving town hall in all of Northern Europe and the only one with a true Gothic exterior and interior. Here we will explain the function of the city council and the autonomy of Lower Tallinn throughout the centuries.

St Mary's Cathedral (also knows as the Dome Church) stand on the location of one of the first ever churches built in Estonia (possible even THE oldest). A church has stood here since 1219. Learn about different religions in Estonia and why it was the last building in Tallinn to covert to Lutheran Christianity.

This Russian Orthodox cathedral was finished in 1900 and built during a trying time in Estonian history. Learn of it's heritage and what sets it apart from other buildings nearby.
