About This Experience

Meet your guide and set off on a safari-style tour of the Cretan countryside. Travel in a 9-seater van and visit stone-built mountain villages, the Amari Valley, and Lake. Walk through the Agios Antonios Gorge and a drive with the minivan up to the village of Karines at an altitude of 900 meters, where we will admire the wonderful view of Crete’s highest mountains, Psiloritis and Lefka Ori, as well as the north and south seas.

Continue through the dramatic Kourtaliotis Gorge and stop for photos. Head to the famous Preveli Beach and explore the stunning palm forest and river. Continue along Crete’s southern coastline, revealing wild sandy beaches and hidden coves.

Visit Triopetra, the famous beach known to locals for its three iconic rocks in the sea. Swim and feel the magical energy of this place. On the way back, stop at Spili, your guide’s village, famous for its fresh spring water at a constant 13°C.

Stop to walk approximately 500 meters through the impressive Agios Antonios Gorge, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and unspoiled nature.

A stop at 900 meters altitude with views of the mountains of Crete—east, west, the sea to the south, and the sea to the north.

Continue through the spectacular Kourtaliotis Gorge, with a short stop to take photos of its wild landscape and towering cliffs

Arrival at Preveli Beach. A short 10-minute walk leads you to the famous palm forest and river. Enjoy free time to explore, relax, or swim in the unique natural surroundings.
