About This Experience

Tsavo East is the habitat of red Elephants.Get a chance to watch them rolling in the red mud at the biggest national park in Kenya.Apart from red elephant you can see the likes of vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk and Hirola as well as a variety of bird species.

Pick up from hotel/apartment/port in Mombasa and Drive to Tsavo east National park using the Mombasa Nairobi Trans- African highway. Arrive at around 8:30 am and proceed with a game drive starting at the Bachuma Gate. You visit different sections of the park especially the loop side of the park which is swampy as most animals are found there. Visit the pipeline area where most of Elephants concentrate since there are lots of water holes to do mud bathing. Here you get a chance to see different wild animals especially Giraffes, Zebras, Buffaloes, lots of Elephants and if your Lucky see the Big CATS either hunting or hunted and feasting on a kill especially lions. Have lunch at Sentrim Tsavo and later depart to Mombasa to arrive around 6pm in the evening. End tour.
