About This Experience

We start by visiting the historic center of Sintra, full of old buildings and beautiful monuments. You can choose a palace to visit during the morning: National Palace, Biester Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Pena Palace, Monserrate Palace or Queluz Palace. After lunch, we go to the Azenhas do Mar, a village with houses over the sea and a natural pool. Then we stop at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe and which has spectacular views.

We passed by the famous Beach of Guincho, we visited the Boca do Inferno, a rocky formation and finally the picturesque and lively Villa de Cascais, with its beach and the center full of restaurants and shops.

Who will make your tour? Pedro is Portuguese, educated in social media, a businessman and has lived in England for 10 years. Caio is Brazilian, has lived in Lisbon since 2013 and is a journalist with more than a decade of experience in television. We take free photos of your trip.

Tour Itinerary

1

3 hours

Our tour departs from Lisbon to one of Portugal’s most romantic destinations: Sintra. Here we stroll through the Historic Center, take pictures and tell the history of this Villa. Here you can visit one of the following palaces: National Palace, Biester Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Pena Palace, Monserrate Palace or Queluz Palace.

2

30 min

Then, our destination is the beach of Azenhas do Mar, known for its oceanic pool and impressive cliffs.

3

30 min

Now it is time to enter through the beautiful Serra de Sintra, crossing pretty old, bucolic streets, where the royal charrets passed and, a few kilometers later, we reached the westernmost point of Europe – Cabo da Roca – whose mountains, with a height of 140 meters, end by the sea and so ends Europe. On site, there is a lighthouse, a gift shop and a coffee shop.

4

30 min

Descending the Serra de Sintra, our route reaches the wild Praia do Guincho, one of the surfers' favourites. Because it winds too much, the waves are larger and attract athletes. Tourists are attracted by the unique beauty of the place.

5

30 min

Our next destination is the famous rocky formation by the sea, the Mouth of Hell. The name of the locality is due to the impact of the waves hitting the rocks, which often seem to shake the ground. The sun reflecting in the water is very beautiful, as it blends the serenity of the open sea with the strength of the waves that go against the rocks.

6

1 hour

Our tour ends in the charming Vila de Cascais, where we will stroll through the Historic Center.
