About This Experience

We paddle by kayak from Simon’s Town to Boulders Beach, where African penguins waddle and swim at arm’s length. Then off to hike a beautiful trail in the Cape of Good Hope with history, adventure, and natural beauty.

Tour Itinerary

You are picked up with other from your hotel and we make our way down to the penguins.

( This is weather dependant). In Simon’s Town we launch kayaks and paddle across the bay to meet the African penguins at Boulders Beach. Drifting quietly alongside these charming creatures in their natural habitat is a rare privilege, offering a perspective few visitors experience. If conditions are not favourable for kayaking them we find a secluded beach where they might be and we can swim with them or just follow the tourists and go into the reserve.

We hike in the Cape of Good Hope. The hike can either be looking for game or from Cape Point lighthouse down to the Cape of Good Hope sign board.

We drive back via picturesque Chapmans Peak drive.
