Half-Day Lake Lucerne Country Walk

A wonderful panoramic walk for visitors short on time, allowing you to get a flavor of the place, its amazing scenery, historic importance and beautiful nature. 

Walk past the villa where Richard Wagner composed many famous operas before taking the local bus through a neighborhood of former grand summer villas. Follow a meandering walking trail along a panoramic ridge giving you views of the lake and the surrounding majestic Alps.

Visit an organic farm, pass by vineyards and lovely old wooden Swiss chalets down to the small village of Winkel with the oldest school house of the region. Return to Lucerne by local bus.
