Tour Itinerary

1

5 min

We will start the tour at the bar in the Market tap. However, I would advise visiting the Market beforehand to have a look around and enjoy some food from some of the great street food style vendors. I would recommend pizza by Satorellis, or if you're feeling really British, Pie and Mash from Pieminister!

2

5 min

We will walk down Broad Street to see the Sheldonian Theatre, Bridge of Sighs and Blackwell's Bookshop. Also located on Broad street are Balliol and Trinity colleges.

3

20 min

We will stop at this historic pub for a swift half pint of cask ale as we discuss all things beer and Oxford history

4

30 min

We go down the hidden entrance to the Turf, one of Oxford's most famous pubs for 'an education in intoxication'. Here we'll hear about the pub's history and it's clientele past and present!

5

5 min

We walk to the next pub via the most impressive spot in Oxford, Radcliffe Square. Home to The Radcliffe Camera, Bodliean Library, All Souls College and St Mary's Church.

6

30 min

Next we visit The Bear Inn, a true Oxford gem—steeped in centuries of history, tight-knit ambiance, and a delightfully eccentric atmosphere.

7

30 min

Just a short walk from the Bear, Our final stop is a lesser-known, but fantastic local pub with over 20 local ales. A must‑visit for cask‑ale lovers! Please note, there are plenty of different options, so depending on your preference we can decide to visit a different pub if you would like!
