Your guide will lead you through crystal-clear waters that wind past sand pine scrub, lush jungle-like foliage, and serene pine flatwoods. As you paddle, keep your eyes peeled for turtles sunning on logs, playful otters slipping through the water, white-tailed deer, and even the occasional black bear in the distance. Birds are everywhere—egrets, herons, maybe even a barred owl or bald eagle overhead.
