Day 1


  1. Bijli Mahadev

    Visit the ancient temple of Bijli Mahadev, situated at a height of 2,460 metres. Offering beautiful panoramic views of the valley, the temple has a 60 feet high flagpole which attracts lightning, and the priests use butter to light up the temple after every thunderstorm.

    Visit the revered Manikaran Sahib, a pilgrimage site for both Sikhs and Hindus. The main attraction is the hot springs which are believed to have medicinal properties. Also, try out the local langar (free community meal) and enjoy the delicious prasad (sacramental food) prepared with the hot spring water.

  3. Mall Road

    Experience the colonial charm of the British-era Mall Road, the most popular tourist spot in Shimla. Walk around the shops and stalls selling woollen clothes, antiques, and handicrafts. Also, try out the street food and enjoy the scenic views of the Shimla ridge.
