Day 1

1. Heraklion Archaeological Museum

   Visit the Heraklion Archaeological Museum which is one of the largest and most important museums in Greece. You can see the Minoan era artifacts and learn more about the ancient civilization that existed in Crete.

2. Fortress of Koules

   120 minutes

   Explore the Venetian Fortress of Koules which was built in the 16th century. The fortress has been used as a prison, a storage space for gunpowder and as a theater. You can get a great view of the city of Heraklion from the top of the fortress.

3. Karteros Beach

   180 minutes

   Enjoy the sunset at Karteros Beach which is located just a few kilometers outside of Heraklion. You can swim and do beach activities during the day and have a picnic while watching the sunset in the evening.

Day 2

1. Knossos Palace

   240 minutes

   Visit the Knossos Palace which is the largest Bronze Age archaeological site in Crete. You can learn about the Minoan civilization and see the palace ruins and artifacts.

2. Psiloritis Natural Park

   360 minutes

   Go hiking in Psiloritis Natural Park which is located in the mountains of Crete. You can see a variety of wildlife and flora and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

3. Agia Pelagia Beach

   180 minutes

   Relax at Agia Pelagia Beach which is located about 20 km west of Heraklion. You can swim and do beach activities during the day and have a dinner at one of the seafood restaurants in the evening.

Day 3

1. Cretaquarium

   180 minutes

   Visit the Cretaquarium which is the largest aquarium in Greece. You can see a variety of marine life and learn about the Mediterranean Sea ecosystem.

2. Lychnostatis Open Air Museum

   240 minutes

   Visit the Lychnostatis Open Air Museum which is an outdoor museum showcasing the traditional Cretan way of life. You can see agricultural tools, household objects and learn about the local customs.

3. Stalis Beach

   180 minutes

   Relax at Stalis Beach which is located about 30 km east of Heraklion. You can swim and do beach activities during the day and have a dinner at one of the local taverns in the evening.

Day 4

1. Samaria Gorge

   480 minutes

   Go on a hike in Samaria Gorge which is located in the White Mountains of Crete. You can see a variety of wildlife and flora and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The hike is about 16 km long and takes about 6 hours to complete.

2. Agia Roumeli Beach

   180 minutes

   Relax at Agia Roumeli Beach which is located at the end of Samaria Gorge. You can swim and do beach activities and have a dinner at one of the local taverns.

Day 5

1. Phaistos Palace

   240 minutes

   Visit the Phaistos Palace which is the second largest palace of the Minoan civilization. You can learn about the ancient city and see the palace ruins and artifacts.

2. Matala Beach

   Relax at Matala Beach which is a popular beach with a unique landscape of cliffs. You can swim and do beach activities and have a snack at one of the beach bars.

3. Sarakina Gorge

   Go on a short hike in Sarakina Gorge which is located near the village of Malia. You can see a variety of wildlife and flora and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the gorge.

Day 6

1. Heraklion Old Town

   240 minutes

   Explore the Old Town of Heraklion which has a variety of historic buildings and landmarks such as the Church of Saint Titus and the Venetian Loggia. You can also visit the local shops and cafes.

2. Agios Nikolaos Beach

   240 minutes

   Relax at Agios Nikolaos Beach which is located about 60 km east of Heraklion. You can swim and do beach activities and have a lunch at one of the seaside restaurants.

3. Lasithi Plateau

   300 minutes

   Go on a jeep safari in Lasithi Plateau which is located about 90 km east of Heraklion. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and see a variety of wildlife and flora.
