Day 1

   This is a perfect place to sample a variety of Spanish food, including tapas, paella, cheeses, cured meats, and wine. The market is also a great location to see how locals interact and socialize.

3. Plaza Mayor

   The grand old square is a perfect location to relax and take photographs. The site is lined with dark arcades and three-story residential buildings with wrought-iron balconies. The statue of King Philip II is at the center.

Day 2

1. Royal Palace of Madrid

   The royal palace of Madrid is one of the most beautiful architectural buildings in the city. The grand palace is the official residence of the Spanish royal family. Also, visit the gardens which offer fantastic views of the palace.

2. Chocolateria San Gines

   90 minutes

   A traditional Spanish chocolate factory located in Madrid, is the perfect location to have a cup of Spanish hot chocolate and a delightful churro.

3. Gran Via

   120 minutes

   Explore one of Madrid's luxury shopping districts. It's the best place for an evening stroll with beautiful scenic views and landmarks.

Day 3

1. Retiro Park

   180 minutes

   A fantastic location in the heart of the city, was opened in 1868. Here you can relax and stroll through beautiful landscapes, summerhouses, fountains, monuments, sculptures, and statues.

2. Botin Restaurant

   120 minutes

   The world's oldest operating restaurant, which dates back to 1725, serves Spanish dishes. Try their traditional roasted suckling pig or lamb at this place.

3. Plaza de Cibeles

   90 minutes

   One of Madrid's prominent landmarks, built in the late 18th century during the reign of Carlos III. There are amazing views from the terrace of City Hall.
